What's going on over there, Mommy?

Today, Queenie and her family visited Michael and Sophia, who run the
Inwood Peace Yoga Center on Isham Street. Queenie's best friend, Beau, lives with them. He is a super-cute, smart (and Queen adds: very handsome!) German Shorthaired Pointer mix.
Beau's mom made a delicious dinner for us.

Beau and Queen played with his toys and had yummy almonds.

We took lots of pictures of Beau. He's a beautiful pup.

We also took many pictures of Beau with Queen

Finally, we had to leave because Beau was getting tired and wanted to go to bed.

All in all, a fun and delicious night!!
Spike is
Queenie's friend from Inwood Hill Park and Dogster.com . We ran into him today and he gave us his usual enthusiastic greeting.
On our long walk back, we ran into one of Queen's friends. Zazu is a princess of Inwood Hill. She's cute and she knows it :)

Today, we went on a long walk in Inwood Hill Park. Spring is in the air and everything looked beautiful. We went past the bridge over the rail yards, to the parkland next to the Hudson river. It's a gorgeous area.

Queenie and her family

Queenie was doing her 'training' to go out. She did a couple of tricks for Daddy and Mommy. First she sat...

Then she got into her pre-paw position...

Then she gave Daddy her 'paw'...

Finally, she gave Daddy the 'double jump paw'!!
Inger's mom is visiting us for two weeks and she's spent some time with Queenie.

Queenie likes to have her chest rubbed... it's the rub-rubola position (with Mommy doing the 'rubboling')
